By purchasing from us, you represent, warrant, and agree that:

you are purchasing solely for lawful research purposes,

you understand the nature of the products being supplied,

you will not use the products for any prohibited or unsafe purpose,

you will not administer the products to humans or animals,

you will not market, redistribute, or repackage the products for human or veterinary use,

and you will use, handle, store, and dispose of all products in accordance with applicable laws, regulations, and good laboratory practices.

We reserve the right to refuse supply where we reasonably believe that the intended use does not align with our research-use-only policy.

3. ✅ Customer Eligibility, Compliance, and Intended Use

By placing an order with us, you confirm that you are acting as a bona fide researcher, research buyer, laboratory, institution, or otherwise in a capacity consistent with lawful research procurement.

You acknowledge that Birmingham Research Lab operates a strict compliance-first model and may assess customer profiles, order patterns, communications, billing information, delivery details, and other relevant indicators in order to determine whether an order is consistent with our policies.

We may decline to fulfil any order where:

  • the intended use is unclear,
  • customer information is incomplete or inconsistent,
  • the order raises compliance or misuse concerns,
  • the transaction appears unusual, high-risk, or inconsistent with research procurement,

or we reasonably believe that fulfilment may expose us, our payment providers, banking partners, logistics providers, or service providers to regulatory or reputational risk.

4. 🛡️ Know Your Customer (KYC) and Due Diligence

To support lawful trade, responsible supply, and compliance with our internal policies, Birmingham Research Lab reserves the right to carry out Know Your Customer (KYC), customer verification, enhanced due diligence, and order screening measures at any time.

and any requirements imposed on us by payment processors, financial institutions, logistics providers, or regulatory frameworks.

Failure to provide requested information, or the provision of misleading, incomplete, or inconsistent information, may result in:

  • order delay,
  • order refusal,
  • order cancellation,
  • refund subject to applicable deductions,
  • account restriction,

or permanent suspension from using our Services.

Nothing in these Terms obliges us to complete any transaction where compliance checks remain unresolved.

5. 🛒 Orders and Acceptance

When you place an order through our Services, you are making an offer to purchase goods subject to these Terms.

Orders are not accepted and no binding obligation to supply arises unless and until we have reviewed and accepted the order.

We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to accept, refuse, limit, delay, place on hold, or cancel any order for reasons including but not limited to:

6. 💳 Prices, Payment, and Billing

All prices are listed in GBP (£) unless otherwise stated and may be changed at any time without notice.

Prices do not include shipping charges, import duties, taxes, handling fees, or any other external fees unless expressly stated.

You agree to provide current, complete, and accurate billing and payment information for all purchases.

By submitting payment information, you represent and warrant that:

you are authorised to use the payment method provided,

the billing information supplied is accurate,

and the transaction is lawful and consistent with these Terms.

We reserve the right to refuse, review, or cancel transactions that appear irregular, unauthorised, non-compliant, or inconsistent with our policies or risk controls.

7. 🚚 Shipping, Delivery, and Customs

We may ship internationally, subject always to local laws, carrier limitations, customs controls, and destination-country restrictions.

Delivery times are estimates only and are not guaranteed.

Birmingham Research Lab shall not be liable for delays, losses, seizures, inspections, refusals, customs holds, regulatory intervention, or other interruptions caused by third parties or events beyond our reasonable control.

Title to goods and risk of loss shall pass to the customer when the goods are handed to the shipping carrier.

Customers are solely responsible for:

  • ensuring that importation is lawful in their jurisdiction,
  • complying with all local laws and regulations,
  • paying any customs duties, taxes, fees, or import charges,

and dealing with any destination-country restrictions or import consequences.

We accept no liability for parcels delayed, returned, destroyed, seized, or refused by customs or other authorities.

8. ❌ Cancellation Policy

We understand that plans may change. However, all order cancellations are subject to a £10 cancellation fee.

This fee reflects the fact that once an order is placed, internal processing may begin immediately. This may include:

  • payment and fraud screening,
  • order review,
  • compliance assessment,
  • packing preparation,
  • stock allocation,
  • shipping preparation,
  • label generation,
  • and manual administrative handling.

By placing an order, you acknowledge and accept that cancellation requests may result in administrative costs and operational resource expenditure.

For this reason, the £10 cancellation fee helps cover the work already undertaken in connection with the order.

We encourage all customers to review their order carefully before completing checkout.

9. 📄 Product Information and Availability

We aim to ensure that product descriptions, specifications, pricing, availability, and website content are presented as accurately as reasonably possible. However, errors may occasionally occur.
